Day 9

Sitting here drinking my hot tea with a glimpse of ocean view and marveling, once again, at the majesty and power of Gods creation. Oh how He has blessed us with friends old and new.

Today was a beautiful sunshiny day with temps in the mid to upper 60s. Perfect!

Camille and Lee took us all around Anchorage even driving by the house Kims mom and dad lived in 30 yrs ago.

The planes take off right over your head. Much closer than it looks in this pic.
Kim and Lee discussing something serious.
This is Lee’s plane.

After our tour of the city, they dropped us off at our hotel for tonight where we met our rental car owner.
We decided to drive down to Seward since we had the afternoon free. It was a long drive but beautiful scenery once again.

Kim had a whopping big burger for supper.

Can’t say enough about what a blessing Camille and Lee were. It was very interesting to see how God brought them into our lives, knowing we would need a touch from Him at this point in our journey. So very grateful!

It’s now 11:15 Alaska time, 2 am texas time and we’re in the guest laundry at the hotel waiting for the dryer to go off. 💤 Will post this in the morning.
